The 9 Levels of pedal assistance (PAS) are easily controlled from the ergonomic sensor pad interface integrated into the multifunction display. The ‘on demand’ thumb throttle can be engaged at any time to provide a power boost without the need to pedal. Both sets of controls are located conveniently on the handlebar for easy access at all times while hands stay securely placed on the grips.
Pedal assist and throttle controls are sized and spaced to provide maximum accessibility and comfort as well as ensuring they can be operated safely even when wearing large winter gloves.
The Bafang fat bike motor has been configured to perform at the highest level legally permitted on Canadian roads. The optimized 500W motor delivers up to an incredible 80Nm of torque ensure you can fly up any hill effortlessly. The geared brushless motor system is exceptionally efficient and smooth - maximizing power transfer and minimize power loss.
Power is provided to the motor from the 576Wh battery that is seamlessly integrated within the natural shape of the bike frame. The battery locks securely into the bike and is only removable using the keys provided. For your convenience, the battery can be charged on or off the bike.
The LCD backlit display located on the handlebar acts as your ‘in ride’ dashboard, providing all the essential information about your speed and bike performance as well as light controls and diagnostic information for the bikes electronic components.
The eXtreme 3.1ez display has an integrated USB charging port that can be used to conveniently charge electrical devices such as a mobile phone.
