Hendley Associates have sent their employee Jack Ryan Jr. to mine for gold in Vietnam. He finds a company, GeoTech that does. Jack and a colleague set out to observe GeoTech, but their helicopter is shot down. The Chinese don't want Jack to know what is being processed in the GeoTech factory. Jack and his wounded colleague must stay a step ahead of those that want to kill him.
